augenblickgooSo, I had it. I have had this wonderful experience - George Michaels concert in Belin. I am very glad. It was not what I expected but it was amazing (one of my favorite songs by the way and fortunately I have heard it today live). What I mean is that the concert was with Symphonical orchestra today. Such a modern trend now. For Okean Elzy it fitted not very good (IMHO) and for GEorge Michael it was just exactly in his style. ANd probably because of that the program was so... I would say blue. Somehow traurig, ruhig. And very touching. I have thought a lot while listening to this tender songs.
I am amazed (again this song) that his voice doesnt get worse with ages. It stays just as pure, brilliant as it was. And his attention to the music. He doesnt like when the crowd makes too much noize while he sings something gentle and quiet. He shows with his hands that he would prefer us to listen carefully to these precious pieces.
The sound in O2 is unglaublig. I cannot imagine now what kind of disapointment I will have next time in Luzhniki or Olimpiyskiy((
The stadium itself is very comfortable, the show was very well organized.
AT the concert I have met a middle aged woman named Kerstin (not sure if I understood the name correct). IT was not easy to understand her . Though she spoke not fast, she had kind of pronounce which made very difficult for me to understand her(( When she found out that I was from Russia she has told me about the deutsch Band RotFront http://www.rotfront.com/ which sings some songs in russian. She was surprised that I understood the name but I have explained to her what is RotFront and then she was surprised))) But it seems that they have no concerts in Berlin this week((
I have bought a T´shirt that will remind me about this wonderful evening))))
The audience has applaused very loudly and called him back twice! He didnt sing Last christmas((( But he sang Freedom))))))))))))))))
